Mobile App

Native Android app giving teachers and students a shared academic workspace — course creation with join codes, assignments, group task boards, and live progress tracking, all built on Firebase.
Teachers and students lack a single, lightweight space to manage coursework: assignments get lost in chat threads, group projects have no shared task list, and students have no clear view of looming deadlines or how much of a group assignment is actually done.
Built as a native Android app (Java, single-activity + Jetpack Navigation) on a role-aware Firebase backend — Firestore for courses/assignments/groups/tasks/submissions, Firebase Auth for login, and Cloud Messaging + WorkManager for deadline and submission notifications. A repository layer (AuthRepository, SubmissionRepository, GroupRepository, ProgressCalculator) sits over an in-memory DataCache and Firestore's own disk persistence, so dashboards stay responsive and progress percentages update live as group members complete tasks — no custom backend server required.
Shipped a full role-based academic workspace spanning 22 screens — teacher and student dashboards, course and assignment management, group workspaces with live task-completion tracking, submissions, and a notification system — running entirely on Firebase.
